Simon Leoza (aussi connu sous le pseudonyme Tambour) est un compositeur multi-instrumentiste montréalais proposant des pièces tantôt contemplatives et sensibles, tantôt vives et poignantes, à cheval entre indie classique, pop et électronique. Leoza est connu pour associer son monde musical avec l'art scénique et l’univers cinématographique, ce qui a valu à ses projets le prix de l'ADISQ pour la meilleure conception d'éclairage et projections en plus d’une nomination aux prix JUNO 2021 (Music video of the year).

L'artiste a également composé la musique de plusieurs courts-métrages, documentaires, productions théâtrales et œuvres chorégraphiques, dont le court-métrage Invincible, de Vincent René-Lortie, nommé aux Oscars 2024. 

Après le succès de son premier album Albatross et au terme d'une tournée de plus de cinquante concerts à travers le Québec, Simon Leoza revient au printemps 2024 avec son nouvel album ACTE III, un kaléidoscope de couleurs vives et de contrastes audacieux inspirés par le mouvement et l’abondance de l'expérience humaine. Composé de douze pistes captivantes, cet opus exhale une essence théâtrale enchanteresse et déborde d'orchestrations évocatrices et abstraites, accompagnées d'éléments électroniques électrisants, créant un paysage vivant à la fois chaleureux et exaltant. Simon Leoza (formerly known as Tambour) is a Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and composer whose pieces are at times contemplative and sensitive, at other times lively and poignant, straddling indie classical, pop and electronic music. Leoza is known for combining his musical world with scenic art and cinematic universes, earning his projects the ADISQ award for best lighting design and projections, as well as a nomination at the 2021 JUNO awards (Music video of the Year). 

The artist has also composed music for several short films, documentaries, plays and dance productions, including the short film Invincible, by Vincent René-Lortie, nominated at the 2024 Oscars.
